who is "GOD"

God is the beaker because the beaker is the framework in which everything else is contained. The foundation is that on which everything else is built, the paper is that on which everything is painted. The beaker is that which contains the stones.
So the picture of God is not about where can we fit him into our lives but is in fact one where our lives are built completely on him. A very different way of seeing things!
That effectively means everything you do is done in relation to God. When you go to work, how you work, how you interact with colleagues all should show God. When you are at home and how you relate to your family, God should be there. Standing on the football terraces shouting your heads off for your Hibs or hearts, God should be there. There is nowhere that God is not, he encompasses and underpins every part of your life. Or at least he should.

a view of life....

They are all different ways to see life.
How you see your life will make a big impact on what you do with that life. If life is a party you will be focused on having fun. For many people that’s true. They work Monday to Friday whilst longing for the weekend when they can go out partying. It’s not unknown for some people to spend their pay-packet in a couple of days.
You might see life as a race in which case you will always be trying to get out in front. No one else can overtake you and people like this spend most of their energy trying to be better than anyone else. Coming first is all that matters for them.
If you see your life as a roller coaster then it’s all ups and downs. One minute you are way high and on top of the world, next minute you’re down in the deeps being thrown all over the place. For folks like this though you are guaranteed that however you are today, you are going to be different tomorrow.
